I have always wanted an early 18th century pocket watch - but they are out of my price range. Luckily I did manage to get a very early movement, so with the help of a napkin ring, a bracelet a couple of old pocket watch cases and a brooch, I managed to make a passable copy. The silver crank key is an exact replica of a period key.
