Ravenscraig Castle, Kirkcaldy, Scotland. Fond childhood memories of this place. My grandparents and my father lived in a tenement building next to this castle with this exact same view. I've spent many a happy hour playing in the park behind the castle and along the beach. I miss it and hope to return someday.
Union Street, Dundee - Ref: WC0654 This photograph shows the southern end of Dundee's Union Street from the front of Caledonian Railway Station with Whitehall Crescent leading to the east and right. It was probably taken in 1898, when demolition started in the area to make way for the improvements of Whitehall Crescent, including the erection of the new Tay Hotel, to designs by Robert Hunter, on the site occupied by Fairweathers.
