I finished it! I finished it! My first grown-up book all in French. Grim though it was I really really enjoyed it especially the ending. Call me a sociopath but I ended up relating very strongly to Mersault. I want to read more Camus now. I'll probably tackle Le mythe de Sisyphe next because it is so short then La Peste. But first I am going to read something lighter in French dear God. Like Jules Verne. Or Tintin.

It's no secret by now that I have a love/hate relationship with TBR  lists... That doesn't stop me from making them every month, it just removes  the pressure to finish every book that I initially set aside. This month,  the tentative plan is to read the rest of The Raven Cycle first since I  just finished The Raven Boys, then I'll jump over to Percy Jackson (I'm  thinking I'll try to read one book a month from that series), and if I can  get through all of that, then I'll tackle A Court of…
