I grew up in Poland with Polish Christmases. My Christmases were always magical, with real candles and crooked trees and beautiful meals and the smell of barszcz and pierogi. I don't think I'll ever be able to do Christmas without a Christmas tree with real candles.

I just love decorating--all styles-- but for myself and my own home I lean towards the french country and scandanavian decorating styles...always with a touch of the bohemian...after all...this girl has a gypsy soul....

I love Christmas in Denmark! The candles on the tree would be lit after a goose dinner, and we would circle around the tree singing Christmas carols, open presents, then have coffee and dessert. A perfect Christmas Eve.
