This is a turned wood bowl I did for my wife. The patterns for the hand carved oak leaves came from actual leaves from the oak tree in our front yard. The background color is acrylic paint and the top coat finish is buffed lacquer. The wood is sycamore. Size is 10" in diameter by 8" in height.

The wood is Box Elder with dimensions around 14 inches in diameter. Acrylic was used in air brushing these laced bowls, with one bowl showing image of dragon flies. I work out of my workshop studio in Milford, Ohio. Hope you enjoy these creations. By Joe LeGrand
