The New York Times recently ran an article about Shelley Hack, her Charlie perfume ads and her iconic Revlon Charlie persona. Description from shelleyhack.blogspot.com. I searched for this on bing.com/images
Revlon's Charlie, named after Charles Revson, was released in 1973. It was originally launched to compete with Estée, a fragrance released by Estée Lauder. Ad campaigns for the scent featured models Shelley Hack (shown in this 1978 holiday ad), Charly Stember, and Naomi Sims.
