The Facts of Life: Sitcom that originally ran from August 1979 to May 1988. A spin-off of the sitcom Diff'rent Strokes, the series' premise focused on Edna Garrett as she becomes a housemother at the fictional Eastland School, an all-female boarding school in Peekskill, New York. The girls in her care included spoiled rich girl Blair Warner; the youngest, gossipy Dorothy "Tootie" Ramsey; overweight, impressionable Natalie Green; and streetwise-but-vulnerable Jo Polniaczek.
