Droominterieur  The table top is exactly right. Not a solid piece of wood that would warp like crazy. The end grain pattern repeat looks like it's 4 pieces of 2x glued side by side and then sandwiched. But it must be more. Must be 12 plus boards--see more lengthwise glue lines. Also looks like this is only 2x thick with an apron of 2x cut with endgrain out on the end to complete illusion. Would also explain the placement of the knot/grain repeat on the end...hmm. Need a side view.
