The story behind the Alpha Romeo Quadrifoglio, the 4 leaf-clover.  It all started in 1923. Alfa’s heroic driver Ugo Sivocci was racing at the Monza circuit. On that day, he had forgotten to bring with him his lucky 4 leaf cover, which he always put in his car, the Tipo P1, number 17.  Ugo Sivocci died in a crash.  From 1923 to today, Alfa has been putting the famous Quadrifoglio badge on every car with that 'cuore sportivo' feeling to it. Alfa has also never used the number 17 in races…
