Work On Writing anchor chart in kindergarten. After going creating traditional Daily 5 anchor charts with students, I made these using Scrappin Doodles clip art. Colored (that is crayon wax melting from her bangs- oops) laminated, and using a Vis-a-Vis (they don't smudge as Expo's do) we talked about what the students body and made notes. Had to make some alterations to hands/eyes with some of the art so that they were "on their work". LOL. Kids said the eyes were creepy.


Evolution of Anchor Charts

I like the idea of this chart for my reading corner. I really want to personalize things with the kids more this year.

I have used this pacing guide for the last few years. I have taken the components of the Daily 5 book and typed it up in a format easier for me to use from day to day. (note the page #'s correspond to the first edition of the book)This is a 5 week launch as prescribed by the 2 sisters.
