I purchased an ambiguously marked 'container cucumber' at a local nursery this spring (starts with a 'G') and plopped it rebelliously in an empty spot in my garden. So far it has produced many large, bumpy, even slightly striped cucumbers. they look like big pickling cucumbers but they're delicious fresh too and super crunchy. I guess I need to go back next spring....
