"Broken" Windows Tutorial. Use frosted contact paper and cut it apart to look like fractured glass. Apply it to the inside or outside of the window. The semi-transparent frosted contact paper takes on the appearance of the "glass" while the actual glass pane (which is transparent) disapears.

Tim said that his neighbor painted the hands, the lights are from Ikea and either the bulbs are special or the glass is colored (I don’t remember exactly how he described this). Either way, this display was fantastic.”
