Power of Kindness: We need to treat ourselves as we do others, to practice self-love by being nonjudgmental and nurturing. Reverse the Golden Rule: Treat others as you desire to be treated > Treat yourself as you treat others... with love and respect.
The second spiritual discipline I chose to do this week was a mixture of two disciplines. I wanted to combine dart prayers with stoplight prayers. So whenever I was stopped at a stop light, I would say at least 1 sentence long prayer. Maybe more if I had time. One thing that I would change about this spiritual discipline if I did it again would be making a topic or theme for the stoplight prayers each day. My prayer life always goes better when I have a focus.
