Art Deco New York, Part 1: A Lesser Known Treasure

One of my favorite “lesser known” Art Deco buildings in Manhattan is found at 25 Central Park West, built in 1931.  Its awning doesn’t look like much, but when you look up you see the perpendicular lines set into the building façade to emphasize height as well as a stepped in set back.

the Fisher Building (1928 Art Deco) is a landmark skyscraper in the United States, located in the heart of the New Center area of Detroit, Michigan.
