This natural wetland in Northeast, Indiana lies beside an old highway and is inhabited by a variety of birds including Blue and White Heron. Autumn is beginning to change the colors by the pond and soon many of the birds will fly south to warmer climates. The sun had risen an hour previously but the fog was still filtering the light giving the scene a very intriguing and mystic look.
This private lake in Northeast, Indiana was softly and beautifully lit with the Autumn sunrise. A light fog was lifting and the deciduous trees just beginning to turn colors. The foreground is covered with wetland plants mostly cattails (bulrushes) and they are likewise showing signs of the Autumn change.
