'Dendera Zodiac', Dendera was considered one of Osiris' many tombs, and his shrines, which have no link with Hathor, were used to celebrate his death and resurrection. His death may have been re-enacted at the sacred lake to the west of the temple.
This particular depiction of the sun was a symbol of one omnipotent god, introduced by Pharaoh Anhknatun. Many people believe he was actually worshipping the God of Joseph from the Bible, in his own unique way.
