Acquired from my local secondhand booksellers for $5.00, this slim biography of Margaret Rutherford, written by her adopted hermaphrodite daughter (who has her own fascinating story in the author's prologue) was a sheer delight. Filled with wonderful stories and anecdotes from friends, this book gives us a glimpse of the private as well as public persona of a larger than life character. Her ups and downs, devotion and desperation are all treated with due care and respect. Beautiful read!
