Silver metallic foil is applied on the wood trim and then the whole piece is glazed with a water-based tea stain. Then sealed with a satin topcoat. The pattern is swirl city reverse stencil from Wallovers.
The is a beautiful desk refurbished by Surfaces Decorative Painting Studios. Rebecca Slaton used brown sapphire venetian gem and painted over it with the OWFP in Driftwood. Then she sanded through to Wallovers Wild Thing pattern and glazed!
Modern Masters Venetian Plaster (tinted to benjamin moore’s polo blue) for a handsome wall finish in a well-traveled gentleman’s study. After the Venetian Plaster Topcoat was troweled on, the Thailand pattern by Wallovers was stenciled in Oyster Metallic Paint by Modern Masters, with the tiny details picked out in Brass Metallic Paint.
