Track students’ quiz scores like 5th grade teacher, @holdontothegood. Students can see how they are improving over time and stay motivated to keep improving! Simply have students record the podcast they listened to and color in the bars to record their score. As always, it’s a good idea for students to see the quiz prior to going on the walk and preferably take the quiz after the second time they have listened to the podcast. Thanks for the great idea, Laurel!

Having students walk in pairs is a great management tip, especially if you are venturing beyond the school grounds. Having students walk as partners ensures that the line is shorter so the teacher has more visibility of all his/her students and it guarantees every student has someone to discuss the podcast once they are done listening! Thanks for the tip, Grit!
