Author Mary Coyle Chase is best known for her Broadway play "Harvey," for which she won the Pullitzer Prize for Drama in 1945. She is one of only 13 women to win this award; she was the fourth. She also wrote the screenplay for the movie starring Jimmy Stewart and Helen Hayes. I always imagine her early career as a journalist, complete with fellow-reporter, future-husband, as "Woman of the Year."
