Hardenbergia violacae. Origin: nsw, qld, tas, act, vic. Full sun or part shade long lived, very hardy. Maintenance: prune to train or control. Tolerates: frosts, most soils and dry periods. Flowering season: later winter/spring. Flower colour: small purple pea shaped flowers appearing in clusters. Foliage colour: dark green glossy leaves. Width up to 2m. Plant spacing 50cm apart. Recommended uses: excellent landscape plant for rockeries or in mass plantings and for erosion control
