Admittedly I've read mostly children's graphic novels, but here are a few I've absolutely adored: Roller Girl by Victoria Jamieson (actually my favorite book I've read so far in 2016)  El Deafo by Cece Bell (one of my favorites I read in 2015!) (Both Roller Girl and El Deafo were Newbery Honor books, and for good reason! They are wonderful! ) Smile by Raina Telgemeier (I had quite a dental drama myself as a pre-teen, so this book really spoke to my inner twelve-year-old)
