Sperlonga Beach – South of Rome, Italy Sperlonga is a small coastal town south west of Rome. I visited this spot with some friends of mine in Rome back in 2010. I remember it being a wonderfully relaxing day on the beach. The climb to the top of town (ie. the top of this picture) for lunch did however require quite a bit of effort. Beautiful coastal views and a delicious Italian lunch awaited me at the top. It was well worth the hike!
