A late Victorian pearl and diamond tiara, the tiara comprising five graduated pearl and diamond clusters of an openwork scrollwork motif with natural pearl tops, diamond- and natural pearl-set floral motifs inbetween each to a gold frame, with a necklet chain of graduated pearl and diamond links with diamond drops, all of a foliate design, a diamond set within a square collet between each one, all diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 5.20 carats.

Diamond and pearl tiara, belonged to Princess Shivakiar, the first wife of King Fuad I of Egypt (1876-1947), encrusted with 1506 diamonds, mounted in platinum. It was originally commissioned from a Paris jeweler by King. The tiara was later passed down to Queen Farida, King Farouk's first wife, who lived in exile in Paris until her death in 1988.
