Jefferson Memorial (original structure) - City Landmark #107. The building, also known as the Missouri History Museum, was designed by Issac Taylor in 1913. A memorial to Thomas Jefferson, it was built with proceeds from the 1904 World´s Fair and stands at what was the main entrance to the fair. It was dedicated in 1913, becoming the first national monument to Jefferson.
The old Jewish Hospital of St. Louis on Delmar. The hospital had been a vital force in caring for the community and furthering medical science beginning in 1902. It moved to a new location off Kingshighway near Barnes Hospital in 1927.
