Time to taste the 200th anniversary edition of the Lagavulin 8 year old. I have to compliment Diageo for not going the obvious commercial NAS and “flavour led” way. They had the ball’s to bottle a young whisky (finally). More thought’s on this expression can be found in my conclusions. #lagavulin
I love this trio of olive oil bottles. The logo is really abstract and to me really reflects the simplicity and natural ruggedness of the olive tree. The colors of the glass bottles are very elemental. To me the black bottle is reminescent of the dark earth and the olive, while the white reminds me of the silvery sheen of the olive tree foliage and the gold is the color of the olive oil.
Chambord Liqueur. Named after a city in France, and it is said it was made for the King Louis XIV. Fancy French raspberry liqueur. Sweet, with a hint of bitterness. May have the smell, texture, and after taste of wine. With alcohol content of 16.5%, it can be drunk straight or mixed in cocktails. Chambord brand also makes raspberry flavored vodka.
