https://flic.kr/p/BHuQzf | Dana Glacier & Dana Lake | The uppermost Dana Lake is probably the deepest blue lake I have ever seen in the Sierra Nevada range. As you can see, there is not much left of Dana Glacier.
https://flic.kr/p/D4chx9 | Remote Narrows of Hidden Bridge Canyon | Another shot of the remote "Hidden Bridge" slot canyon in Death Valley National Park. A unique set of narrows with geology that I haven't seen anywhere else in the park. Much of the narrows is made up of the dark solid rock that you see on the right of this picture. An amazing and unique place. Many more pictures to come in the future.
https://flic.kr/p/C7rcqf | The Racetrack - Death Valley | Sunset on the Racetrack in Death Valley National Park. Made it out here after a 3-hour drive in a 2wd passenger vehicle on the rough gravely road. A lovely place to be as the sun goes down. If you are looking for the moving rocks seen here, most of them can be found near the southern end of the playa. We were the last people out here and were able to experience absolute solitude as we walked back in the desert twilight.
https://flic.kr/p/D4jAuJ | Santa Barbara Sunset | No crazy backpacking trips this weekend...just a relaxing walk on the beach in Santa Barbara. Sometimes it's nice to take a great from the remote and wild back country. I was rewarded with this beautiful sunset.
