Bennett School For Girls in Millbrook, New York.(photo by Andre Govia) Originally constructed as a hotel in 1890, the Bennett School For Girls called this building its home in 1907. The school had about 120 students who took a six year course where they were taught languages, culture and fine arts. In the 1978 the building was left abandoned after the school went bankrupt a year before because of the growing popularity for coeducation.
When the last inhabitants of Potters Manor abandoned the house, they left their belongings behind. No one really knows why. And this house-with-a-mystery? It’s located right where it should be: outside the small English village of Nevertell. // Image by Andre Govia
