Tornado shelter for horses.......why not just make your barn capable of withstanding a F5 tornado?....then they could stay in there ALL the time and you would never have to worry about taking the time to get them all to safety...because sometimes you don't have that time! not to mention it would save you money and the hassle of building two buildings...or having two buildings to upkeep.

Horse Arc a fantastic new idea for a mobile field shelter! No planning permission, don't need a 4 x 4 to move it around, wind proof and great for groups of horses!

I wonder if anyone in America makes anything like this. Horse Arc a fantastic new idea for a mobile field shelter! No planning permission, don't need a 4 x 4 to move it around, wind proof and great for groups of horses!

Two indoor arenas, a horse walker and internal stabling, all under a Coverall roof structure.

I would keep the large arena with two isle ways to barns with stalls and runs. Wild horse barn attach to the small corner arena. 2 Round pens instead of walker. Holding pens for "to work next" horses.

Big Grooming Stalls

Wash stalls with overhead hose booms - Groom stalls - all with built in shelving. My dream wash stalls

I'd have the hay in a storage separate from the horses. Love the layout though.

Since the barn is for only 6 horses I would just combine the tack and feed room into one large room with a small bathroom.
