De Vargas Street House, located at 215 East De Vargas Street on the eastern side of Old Santa Fe Trail in Santa Fe, New Mexico within the Barrio De Analco Historic District, is one of the Oldest buildings in America. The Oldest House rests on part of the foundation of an ancient Indian Pueblo dating from around 1200 AD.

De Vargas Street House, located at 215 East De Vargas Street on the eastern side of Old Santa Fe Trail in Santa Fe, New Mexico within the Barrio De Analco Historic District, is one of the Oldest buildings in America. The Oldest House rests on part of the foundation of an ancient Indian Pueblo dating from around 1200 AD.

Located in this affluent community, the property comprises some 210 acres (Covenant and non-Covenant), a large portion of which is available for development. The Heath Foundation has announced that its new alternative energy project, HeathSUN, is ready to “solarize” Santa Fe. "HeathSUN will provide a complete rooftop photovoltaic solar system for homeowners in Santa Fe County at no charge to the customer. HeathSUN owns and maintains each rooftop solar system, and the ancillary metering and control equipment, and there’s no lien on the house."

This house became their second home in the summer months, while the couple involved themselves in community affairs focusing on Native-American culture. For many years Sloan served as illustrator for the New Mexico Quarterly and presided over several local cultural foundations, including the Exposition of Indian Tribal Arts, the Santa Fe Painters and Sculptors, and the New Mexico Alliance for the Arts.
