from Barbara Stroud Blog.... Elizabeth Pollie is one artist that I hold in high regard. She’s very talented and has such a sense of style. Her paintings are very different from the norm, if she were on the show “X Factor”, she would have “it”, the “IT” factor… there is a mystical almost angelic-ness to her paintings. It helps that she paints places that are near and dear to my heart, Mackinac Island, MI being one of those places.
Monochromatic and austere, this apartment looks open and spacious, in spite of its small footprint. Designed by French studio Nicolas Schuybroek Architects, the apartment utilizes clever combinations of marble, stone and timber to create visual layers and sense of warmth.
