In Spanish 2, we discuss race and race relations in the Caribbean.  It would be helpful for students to use a target language resource as a jumping-off point for discussions about slavery in the Caribbean.

I chose this resource because it highlights the aftereffects of the Haitian revolution, the long-strained relations between Haiti & the DR, and how this situation continues to affect people today.
