Sunlight streaming through the window of the Church of Santa Maria in Caldes de Montbui on the Costa Barcelona. Famous for its ancient hit springs the town's church is also home to a historic statue of Christ which only barely survived the Spanish Civil War. On our visit the late afternoon glow flooded through the stained glass illuminating the golden figure opposite. Just one of the stand-out memories of my visit.
