Completed in 1914, the station built by the New York Central at Utica, NY replaced an earlier structure constructed during the second half of the 19th century. At one time, not only did the station serve the New York Central, but the NY Ontario & Western, and Delaware, Lackawanna, & Western RR's as well. The station is still used for passenger service by Amtrak and The Adirondack Scenic Railroad.
