College gifts: Open When... Sent a box of 65 cards from me and my wife, friends, family, coaches and influential people in my daughter's life. This should be enough for her to open one every other day of the semester as she starts college. We added pictures, gift cards, cash, and fun gifts. - created via http://pinthemall.net
An easy way to keep track of student conferences! Just tape index cards to a file folder - boys on one side, girls on the other. You can easily flip through and write anecdotal notes and the date you met with your students. It is a great reference for report cards and parent meetings.
Follow my store for more freebies! These compliment cards can be used in conjunction with the book How Full is Your Bucket for Kids by Tom Rath and Mary Reckmeyer. Students can be instructed on how to give a meaningful, sincere compliment. One of our class bulletin boards is titled "How Full is Your Bucket?" and students are able to fill each other's buckets with compliments written on the cards.
The Memorare is my absolute favorite prayer. I vividly remember being taught to pray it-and memorize it, along with numerous other prayers-in the 7th grade at St. Clare School in Clifton, NJ, by Miss Joan Collins. I fell in love with the words and meaning and have always recited it during my own times of reflection and prayer. It's so comforting.
