I finished Maine a few days ago. I would describe it as a beach read for people who are tired of books where the reader is assumed to be stupid and/or lazy. This book is about four women and there is no picture perfect wedding, romance, or any other Harlequin moment. It illustrates - beautifully, I might add - that life is a messy, complicated and bizarre journey from beginning to end. Read this and share it with your friends, you wont regret it.
