It is a four block star quilt that I made, by cutting up a previous uninspired red quilt top. I had the red quilt top sewn together for over a year, and never quilted it, because it just didn't feel finished. I thought, what if I just cut up the quilt top and turn it into something better? So I cut my star shapes, added the bright orange tips to set the stars a blaze, used up all my bright blues to clean up my scrap bins, added a snazzy blue border
Wonky star tutorial... wonky star is in! So wonky star, hexys, circles, Dresden plate, and no scrap fuzzy cut block. I think that should be enough 5 different blocks. Then I'm heading over to spoonflower and printing some photos of my fabric and mixing them in with the xmas quilt. Gonna be awesome!
