Lake Roosevelt....it was quite a hike to get this shot....but so worth it.
LacledeLaclede dates back to the mid 1800's when ferry service began across the Pend Oreille River. Before the Longbridge was completed in 1910 over Lake Pend Oreille, the ferry provided the only way across the river between Laclede and Seneacquoteen. The ferry provided ongoing service for nearly 100 years until it closed in 1957. Today, Laclede is home to Riley Creek Recreation Area, which offers camping, RV sites, sheltered picnic areas, and a swim beach.
