Explore Flash Photography, Davis and more!

My winter wedding made TheKnot.com! As the night went on, the snow started falling heavier. Our AMAZING photographer (Ciprian Photography...he'll travel anywhere) pulled us outside and back-lit this shot with a powerful flash to get the amazing image you see. Everyone thought he did a granulated effect on the image, but this is all natural...snow. Couldn't have asked for a more memorable image for my big day and people still go on and on about it.

ontrol of window brightness, minimum amount of post processing required. Cons: Takes a while to learn flash setup techniques.

An Introduction to External Flash Units

How to use external flash indoors..."Once I enter the reception hall, I automatically set up my camera to “M”, 1/60 @ F5.6 and fire away all night. If I do want a shot with the background dark simply move the dial back to “P” mode and fire away. Nothing else needs to be adjusted."
