It shows the Madonna and Child with SS Joseph, Peter, Gregory and a saint with a palm-branch-Andrew?

San Carlo al Corso, Rome.  Chapel of the Crucifix.  The impressive gilded wooden altar dates from the late 16th century, it was salvaged from the oratory of the Blessed Sacrament at Perugia.  The crucifix is by Cavallini and is placed over a landscape painting as was common at the time.

The Scala Sancta (Holy Stairs) in Rome, are, according to the Christian tradition, the steps that led up to the praetorium of Pontius Pilate in Jerusalem, which Jesus Christ stood on during his Passion on his way to trial. The stairs were, reputedly, brought to Rome by St. Helena in the 4th Century.
