Hay is enclosed in transparent window shelves and Japan's Waseda University Straw Insulated Home | Works as a heating system in the cooler months and a cooling system in the summer. In the winter, the hay decomposes, releasing heat. In the summer, cool air is released in the home as the hay dries out. | via Dornob
Prof. Jiro Kondo and a mission from Waseda University’s Institute of Egyptology, made an amazing discovery! They discovered a private tomb of Khonsuemheb, in the el-Khokha area of the Theban necropolis, across the Nile from Luxor. This remarkable discovery uncovered a beautifully preserved and elegantly decorated tomb, with painting adorning the walls. This tomb probably dates back to the Ramesside period.

The Terminator Rat was created by researchers at Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan. Its job is to induce stress and depression in animals - including rats. The team used the robot to "constantly harrass" one group of 12 rats, and attack another group when they moved. The next tests will pit the team's model of depression against conventional models, which are made by forcing rats and mice to swim for long periods or otherwise have their sense of smell severed.
