Thanks Paula Deen (FoodTV) for the best fried chicken I have ever made! It has a nice, savory flavor and a coating that has just the right amount of crispiness. It was a good thing I had an extra cut-up chicken in the refrigerator because my family was begging for it again the next day. Although it calls for what seems like a lot of hot pepper sauce, it isnt any spicier than Jack-In-the Boxs Spicy Crispy Chicken-you can take it!! FYI I made this using 10 pounds of wings-enough of the hot…

"54 Things I Love About You". I made for my husband's Valentine's Day gift. I used a pack of playing cards, including jokers. I glued paper to the backs and wrote on them with markers. I used the box that my wedding ring came in and decorated it. Then, I used a coloring sheet for the wrapping. It's early, but you have to plan when doing all home made Christmas gifts this year.

Today I’m sharing a project that I presented at a stamping event in November, and that my downline requested we make at our next meeting. It’s a Sliding Treat Box with a Twist Pop-Up Panel Card attached. Here’s what I made: 2017 The card opens to show fireworks and a panel with 2017, and the box slides open to reveal the goodies inside. I made the one for my presentation (above) to fit a package of Reese Cups. To simplify things, I made the one for our team meeting (below) the size ...

Homemade Beef Rice-A-Roni - never use the boxed stuff again! This looked and tasted just like the real thing! I had to tell my husband that I made the rice from scratch - not a box. Rice, pasta, beef broth, beef bouillon, onion powder, Worcestershire, soy sauce, garlic powder, pepper and chopped carrots. Seriously delicious - tons of great beefy flavor! We make this all the time - SO much better than the box.

The rings look awesome and I have already received many compliments at work. They are a lot heavier than I thought they would be. They look so delicate but the platinum makes them feel strong. Really really really impressed with the crazy detail on the engagement ring. I think I have some serious issues but the one thing that I loved the most is the Brian Gavin fridge magnet. Don't ask me why. Maybe it's because it's the one thing I get to keep for myself. I don't know. I asked my…

Modified from Pressure Perfect by Lorna Sass. I got a pressure cooker last Christmas and until yesterday, it was still sitting in the box. I vowed to use it before this Christmas, and this was the first thing I made in it. I made a few substitutions based on what I had on hand, and I was so happy with the results. Serve with rice, pasta or potatoes.
