Simmer together almond milk, a swirl of coconut oil and fragrant spices such as nutmeg, ginger and turmeric for a healthy hot beverage that comforts as it chases away chills.
Creamy Tumeric Tea - Makes one cup Warm 1 cup (8 oz) of almond or coconut milk (or watered down coconut cream) on the stove. Meanwhile, add the following to a mug: 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, dash of cayanne pepper, 1 teaspoon honey or other sweetner, and peeled sliced ginger to taste (can remove before drinking or finely grate or use grated ginger). Can also add cinnamon and/or cardamom.
