The Battle of Cajamarca occurred on November 16th, 1532. It was an ambush in which Francisco Pizarro and a small Spanish force captured Atahualpa, an Inca ruler. Spanish forces kill many of Atahualpa's commanders and counselors, and made the rest of his forces flee.
Cuitláhuac, 10th tlatoani of the Aztec Empire, brother of Moctezuma II. After being held captive by the Aztecs, Cortés ordered Moctezuma to ask his people stop fighting. Moctezuma told him that they wouldn't listen to him, and in turn asked him to free his brother Cuitláhuac so he'd convince the people to stop. Once freed, Cuitláhuac led his people against the conquistadors and successfully drove them out of Tenochtitlán on June 30, 1520. After ruling for only 80 days, he died of smallpox.
Una de la cargas de caballería dadas por el Regimiento de Voluntarios de Jaruco el 19 de febrero de 1896 contra las tropas del lugarteniente general Antonio Maceo, en la provincia de la Habana, Cuba. En esa acción participaron también los escuadrones de Talavera y Lusitania.
