Mel's Card Corner | Blue Christmas I added some ink blending with Distress Inks over the entire card front. I started at the bottom with the lightest color, Tumbled Glass. After I got about a third of the way up the card, I switched to the medium shade, Salty Ocean. Lastly, for the top third of the card, I added some Blueprint Sketch. To give the card a bit more depth, I lightly went around the edges of the top half of the card using some Black Soot.

I had 3 die cut snowflakes from my Simon Says Stamp Funky Snowflake die on my desk for the last mont.

I LOVE pink, brown and white.the card I had published for the Papercrafts Christmas issue was, you guessed it, pink, brown and white.

Love the layers, script background, tye dye like color, heat embossed snowflakes, rhinestones & banner.

Mel's Card Corner | Blue Christmas After I had all the ink blending finished, I used a dry paper towel to buff over all the embossing. This removed any excess ink left behind during the ink blending process. To finish off the card, I added some white enamel dots in the centers of the larger snowflakes and some rhinestones in the centers of the smaller snowflakes.
