Sears Heroes at Home and Rebuilding Together teamed up for the sixth year to improve the lives of America’s military families in 2013. Launching its annual spring renovation campaign in a community devastated by Hurricane Sandy, Heroes at Home rebuilt the home of Vietnam Army veteran Mickey, the current commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 5195 in Red Hook, NY.

"The battle after war": Veterans helping Veterans (Episode 8 of 19): Throughout their work Melanie and Maria have heard countless stories from Veterans both being helped by Rebuilding Together, and volunteering their time to help others. Hear the stories of these heroes, and the reason their service continues at home.
