Pallet Painting Canvas

#Canvas, #Painted, #PalletFrame I have for a long time used pallets for my paintings instead of canvas or MDF boards. I like the rough surface because it gives the message to the art a new dimension. For me, the pallets have become a symbol for the wasted, not needed and worked

Paint. One thing I've always wanted to do is just paint freestyle. I don't want to be told what to paint, I just want to put myself in an empty room and let my mind wander. I also like the colours particularly on the horse. I find the anatomy of both creatures depicted to be wonderful and accurate.

Black Iris by Georgia O’Keeffe (1887–1986), 1926, oil on canvas “Nobody sees a flower - really - it is so small - we haven’t time - and to see takes time, like to have a friend takes time. If I could paint the flower exactly as I see it no one would see what I see because I would paint it small like the flower is small. So I said to myself - I’ll paint what I see - what the flower is to me, but I’ll paint it big and they will be surprised into taking time to look at it - I will make even…

Who likes this painting? I painted this painting this recent summer, because I had nothing else to do and also I wanted a cute touch to my room. All I did to make this was to buy a good quality canvas from the craft store Michaels and some paint brushes from there too. I had already had the paint, which was acrylic paint. All I did was paint the whole canvas that Fuchsia/pink color. Then waited until that was completely dry. Then I free hand painted the black zebra stripes. How I…
