Years ago, especially when I was young & dancing for the Grand Rapids Ballet, I obsessed about my weight. It was a huge focus for all the dancers.   How could I allow myself to build a strong, healthy, fit body, with muscles that burn fat while I sleep, when I wouldn't allow an extra pound on the scale --to me, I assumed it represented added fat, not muscle weight, not natural fluctuations humans have, not water weight.
