Roseville Cooke Jar. Roseville’s Water Lily pattern was introduced in 1943. Over 50 different pieces were made in the pattern. Background colors were blue, brown or pink. The number “8” in the mark refers to the jar’s height, 8 inches. Pieces in Water Lily are easy to find, but cookie jars are one of the items collectors look for.
Porcelain 'chicken cup' wine-cup. Decorated in doucai style with underglaze blue washes and outlines and overglaze green, red, yellow, and brown enamels. Design on the outside of rooster, hen and chicks with lilies and peony shrubs behind rocks. Mark on base.
