Being an introvert doesn't mean you hate lots of people or social activities. It just means that being social (while you enjoy it) significantly drains you, and you require lots of alone time to compensate.
I'm not really an outgoing introvert but some of these, especially describe me perfectly<<<<this is so me I'm in shock. I was sure there was something wrong with me because I'm not an introvert but I'm not an extrovert, and this just made so much sense
Introverts tend to get their energy from within, so being with people is draining. After a day filled with people or activities, introverts tend to feel exhausted and empty. They just need quiet time to come back to themselves.
Introverts are capable of acting like extroverts for the sake of work they consider important, people they love, or anything they value highly. We can extrovert the hell out of something interesting and worthwhile, for a period.
